Description
Nunca Miente Reposado is a reposado tequila from a brand that draws its agave from the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco. Rested in oak, it sits between a bright blanco and a deeper añejo, which makes it one of the more versatile bottles on a tequila shelf.
Expect cooked agave sweetness on the nose with light vanilla and caramel from the barrel. The palate is smooth and balanced, with soft oak, a touch of baking spice and a clean, gently warming finish that keeps the agave in front.
Enjoy it neat or over ice, or use it where you want a little more body than a blanco, such as in an old fashioned-style tequila cocktail or a smoky margarita. It is an easy bottle to share with friends who are newer to aged tequila.
